The rainforest sounds are recordings of special nature sound environments; as well as specific rainforests (with their birds) we have an 'open woodland' section - here - and a 'with water' section - here
Rainforests - both tropical and cool - contain a great many of our birds, frogs and crickets; they are very concentrated, and as well as birds we hear many more rainforest sounds - such as quiet morning creeks, evening crickets - and in the later sections, background sea and river environs, crows and parrots in their favoured open habitats; birds in place ..
These pieces are quite musical; each is unique, each has its (bird) instruments - sometimes leading, sometimes as background colour, they can be very dynamic, some are quiet - with lots of space in which to engage a listener
Australia is a country full of such places, along with the parent landscape and stories that link it all together ..
