Rainforest sounds, birds in place
The rainforest sounds are recordings of special nature sound environments; as well as specific rainforests (with their birds) we have an 'open woodland' section and a 'with water' section
Rainforests - both tropical and cool - are very concentrated environments; as well as a great many of our birds, frogs and crickets, we hear - and see - creeks, mangroves, huge trees ..
In the later sections there are background sea and river environs, crows and parrots in their favoured open habitats ... birds in place ..
These pieces are quite musical; each is unique, each has its 'instruments' - sometimes leading, sometimes as background colour, they can be very dynamic, some are quiet - with lots of space in which to engage a listener
Australia is a country full of such places, along with the parent landscape and stories that link it all together ..
